Southern New Hampshire University

E&J Mechanical was honored to collaborate with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) on the revitalization of the HVAC infrastructure in Hampton & Windsor Halls. As a rapidly growing academic institution renowned for its innovative approach to education, SNHU requires a robust infrastructure to maintain a comfortable and productive learning environment for its 3,000 on-campus students. Our team replaced aging boiler plants with high-efficiency Lochinvar boilers and Grundfoss system pumps in each building, ensuring optimal heating performance and reliability. To further enhance climate management and occupant comfort while promoting energy savings, we upgraded the VAV controls throughout the dormitories. Recognizing the importance of system longevity, we meticulously flushed, chemically treated, and commissioned the hot water systems through an independent firm. Leveraging our prefabrication expertise, E&J pre-assembled boiler room piping, system pumps, and accessories at our facility, streamlining the installation process and minimizing disruption to campus life. This project showcases our dedication to delivering customized solutions that improve the functionality and efficiency of educational facilities, supporting SNHU’s mission to provide an exceptional learning experience for its students.
